McCARTNEY on July 28 at 8:00 p.m. and WONDER on July 29 at 10:00 p.m. - President and Mrs. Obama hosted a concert on June 2 in honor of musician Sir Paul McCartney’s receipt of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The program includes performances by McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, Herbie Hancock, Emmylou Harris, Faith Hill, Jack White and more, with remarks by Jerry Seinfeld.

Mondays at 9:00 p.m. - America's top gumshoes are returning to KEET on Monday nights to prove once again that an object found in an attic or backyard might be anything but ordinary.

Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. - The award-winning P.O.V. (a cinema term for “point of view”) series is the longest-running showcase on television to feature the work of America’s best contemporary-issue independent filmmakers.

Tuesdays in July at 9:00 p.m. - CARRIER is a character-driven, edge-of-your-seat, nonfiction drama and a once-in-a-lifetime total immersion in the high-stakes world of a nuclear aircraft carrier. It follows a core group of film participants aboard the USS Nimitz , as they navigate personal conflicts around their jobs, families, faith, patriotism, love, the rites of passage and the war on terror.

Taping This Summer! - LOST COAST SESSIONS is a music performance pilot series featuring Ukesperience, Absynth Quintet, Huckleberry Flint and Woven Roots. The series is being produced by KEET-TV and directed by JD Lobue in collaboration with KHUM-FM.

Fridays at 8:30 p.m. - NEED TO KNOW is a cross-media news and public affairs magazine that culls stories from the best of the week’s online reporting, culminating in a one-hour on-air broadcast every Friday night on PBS. NEED TO KNOW will cover five primary news beats: the economy; the environment and energy; health; national security; and culture.

Saturdays at 9 pm and Sundays at 11 pm - AUSTIN CITY LIMITS showcases the best original music from pop to rock, country, blues, bluegrass, Latin, folk, roots. This weekend KEET features Allen Touissant!

- Our dear friend and colleague, Seth Frankel passed away on May 21, 2010.  There will be a celebration of Seth's life on June 11 at 4:00 p.m. at the KEET-TV STUDIO at the top of Humboldt Hill.

Tune in for Six Candidate Forums in April and May - In preparation for the June 8th, 2010 primary election, KEET is partnering with the League of Women Voters of Humboldt County to produce and broadcast six live debates with the candidates for Sheriff, District Attorney, Assessor, Senior Senator and Board of Supervisors for the 4th and 5th Districts.
